We use an outside vendor called BASE (Before and After School Education). They are not affiliated with Camp Pendleton's childcare program. BASE is offered at multiple OUSD school sites across the district. They provide childcare programs from TK-5th grade. For more information, please visit their website by using this link: BASE Programs.

We also partner with SAC (School Age Childcare) for grades 1st-5th on site and our local Stuart Mesa Childcare Development Center (CDC) for TK and Kinder students off site. The Department of Defense (DoD) recognizes the importance of providing Military and DoD-affiliated Families with access to quality, affordable child care programs. Access to child care directly affects the efficiency, mission readiness, morale, and retention of DoD personnel worldwide. Camp Pendleton offers Child & Youth Programs (CYP), School Age Childcare (SAC) and Family Child Care (FCC), which offers an alternative to center-based childcare. Please visit the MCCS Childcare Website for more information on which programs are offered on campus at Stuart Mesa and which programs are offered off-site.
